Titanic 3D the movie

To mark the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic, the Australian National Maritime Museum has partnered with 20th Century Fox to include selected costumes and props from the Academy Award®-winning film Titanic as part of the Museum’s intimate memorial exhibition Remembering Titanic – 100 years.

Written, directed and produced by James Cameron, Titanic is the second-highest grossing movie of all time and received a record 11 Academy Awards® including Best Picture and Best Director.

To commemorate the anniversary, James Cameron and producing partner Jon Landau have digitally remastered and meticulously enhanced the film to 3D, allowing audiences to experience this ground-breaking and uniquely emotional and visual epic on the big screen like never before.

On display at the Australian National Maritime Museum are nine costumes from Oscar®-winning costume designer Deborah Lynn Scott including outfits worn by Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and Billy Zane, together with props, photographs and design sketches.

Remembering Titanic – 100 years is presented in association with principal partner 20th Century Fox who are releasing James Cameron’s Academy Award®-winning Titanic in 3D in cinemas everywhere from 5 April.
